1 Year Blogoversary Day 18 with Megan Curd Q & A with Giveaway

Welcome to day 18, I have with me Author of Bridger and Forbidden...
Megan Curd

Thank you Megan for taking a moment and joining me for the Celebration!

SG: When did the idea for Bridger come to you?

MC: I had a friend who kept encouraging me to try my hand at writing, so finally I gave in and agreed to try it. I remember calling my mom and telling her my idea, and that I needed something to write about. That night we Googled "cool legends" and found the Irish folklore that became the bedrock of Bridger. It's been a blast studying up on the different kinds of fae in the Irish legends, and I hope I do it justice!

SG: Can you describe it to us in a Tweet?

MC: Bridger: These ain't your momma's Tinkerbell faeries.

SG: Is this a planned trilogy or will there be more than that?

MC: For now it's a trilogy, but I have a novella from Memaw's perspective started, and I'll have a lot of different characters to build off of, should my readers want to have more. There may be four books, but who knows. :)

SG: Where is your number one place you want to visit in the World, that you haven't already?

MC: Well, I had the extreme blessing to get to travel quite a bit before I got married. My favorite places I've visited would be Rome, Italy and Quito, Ecuador, but I'd love to see London, Paris, and Bejing before I get too old and decrepit. :)

SG: Do you have any pets? if so what kind. If not what kind would you like to have?

MC: I have one dog, Stella. She's a Great Dane, and we've actually had little kids ask if she was a pony, so maybe I have a horse! haha

This or That

Jeans or dresses?

Jeans. I don't own a dress...it's against my religion. :)

City girl or Country girl?

City by far!

Eat in or Dine out?

Depends, but usually I'm fine heating up some soup and writing in my office. :) If I go out, though, I love Red Lobster and Bubba Gump's. Love me some seafood!

Movies at home or Movie at the theater?

Depends on how badly I want to see the movie. :) Usually I'm a homebody and will make a big comfy area with some pillows and a blanket and curl up for a movie at home.

Car or Truck?

Well personally, I love really fast cars...but since I've had my son, I need something with a bit more room. Can I say SUV? I have a Scion xB right now, so it's kinda a toaster on wheels and neither a car or a truck, but I love it!

Again, Thank you so much Megan!
