Review:

This was a very interesting book. It was not what I expected, but still very good. There is magic and different kinds of it from what your used to.  I will have to say the reason it gets a 4x5 from me is the first half of the book is slow or it was for me. There was also a lot of information thrown at you, not all at once but spread out over the book. The world created is very well laid out and visual.

Sam is a great character. He is a normal High School boy and a football star for his team. I loved how the story played out for him. It didn't change his basic nature either. He reacted very much like a teenage boy would I believe. That made him awesome to me!

All of the other characters you meet in Atlas Crown are well thought out and not just bland background props. This is a really great action packed magical adventure!
